Advanced Registration Gets a Major Upgrade
We've continued expanding our Advanced Registration experience with more flexibility for both event teams and attendees.
More Control Over Registration Experiences
You can now:
- Run free registration flows without completing Stripe onboarding
- Configure payment methods globally or override them by registration flow
- Add payment processing fees to paid registrations
- Choose whether email addresses are required on ticket registration forms
- Reserve registrations during checkout to prevent ticket loss during longer registration experiences
- Better support guest registrations and group ticket purchases
Better Communication for Purchasers and Attendees
We've refreshed registration-related communications with:
- Dedicated purchase receipt emails
- Improved registration email templates
- Clearer ticket purchaser vs. registrant messaging
- Updated ticket transfer communications
- Streamlined post-purchase confirmation experiences
Ticketing & Registration Experience Improvements
Additional updates include:
- Registration terminology updates throughout the product
- Enhanced ticketing workflows in Event Builder
- Smarter personal information handling during registration

New Badge Management & Check-In Tools
Badge Builder
You can now design, preview, and publish event badges directly inside hapily.
Create badge layouts, add registrant fields and QR codes, preview against real attendee data, and publish directly into your check-in experience. Supported formats include standard event badges and Avery adhesive name tags.
More Flexible Check-In Experiences
We've also added:
- Customizable check-in page columns
- Configurable mobile card layouts
- Better check-in alert support
- Improved walk-up registration consistency and attendee data handling
Mobile Lead Capture Continues to Get Smarter
AI-Powered Voice Notes
Capture lead context on the spot by recording voice notes directly in the app. hapily automatically transcribes and summarizes conversations into structured notes and action items using AI.
Better Lead Enrichment & Follow-Up
We've introduced several enhancements to improve lead quality and speed up follow-up:
- Automatic lead re-enrichment when profile data changes
- Improved business card scanning accuracy
- vCard extraction from badge QR codes
- LinkedIn profile access directly from lead records
- Searchable dropdown fields in Mobile Lead Capture
- One-click meeting booking from lead profiles
New Recap Emails
Admins now receive automated post-event recap emails, and lead capture users receive personalized summaries of the leads they captured.
Event Management Improvements
Faster Navigation & Better Organization
We've redesigned several core areas of the platform, including:
- Updated event navigation
- Redesigned Event Assets experience
- Redesigned Events page in the mobile app
- New tabbed Event Details experience
- Easier access between HubSpot and hapily with "View in hapily" shortcuts
Improved Campaign Management
You can now associate events with existing campaigns and automatically connect more event assets to those campaigns, helping keep marketing efforts organized and reporting more accurate.
Better Zoom Experiences
Updates include:
- Registration-required support for Zoom webinars
- Unique webinar join links for attendees
- Multiple reliability improvements across Zoom syncing and attendance tracking
HubSpot & Data Sync Enhancements
We've continued investing heavily in CRM connectivity and data consistency.
Highlights include:
- Event-to-registrant property syncing
- Event name syncing to registrants
- Expanded registration activity source tracking
- Improved CRM sync reliability and validation handling
- Better support for custom fields and large HubSpot environments
- Cleaner user provisioning during installation
