Why hapily Is Doubling Down on Events: A Small Change That Brings Big Focus

We’re sharpening our focus on events — what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and why this sets hapily up for what’s next.

A message from our founders:

hapily didn’t start with a master plan. It started with curiosity.

What should live natively inside HubSpot? What breaks when teams rely on workarounds? What happens when core workflows actually live where the data already is?

That curiosity led us to build a lot over the years. Tools like Associ8, Clone Attack, and Tick Tock Today came from very real problems we kept seeing customers run into. Each solved something specific. Each made life a little easier inside HubSpot.

But as we kept building, two products kept pulling us forward:

event•hapily and quote•hapily.

They weren’t just interesting ideas. Teams were relying on them every day.

Why We’re Making A Change

As those products grew, so did the realization that events and quoting are very different things to build well.

Events are about people, logistics, timing, and what happens before, during, and after the moment everyone shows up. Quoting is about precision — pricing logic, approvals, and revenue details that have to be right every time.

Trying to do both under one roof meant switching contexts constantly. And that showed up in slower decisions and stretched focus.

So we made a call.

Starting today, event•hapily is now just hapily, a company fully focused on CRM-centric event management.

At the same time, quote•hapily is becoming Quotivity, its own company, dedicated entirely to quoting inside HubSpot.

Same roots. Clearer paths forward.

What hapily Is Focused On Now

hapily is all about events — planning them, running them, capturing what happens on site, and tying it all back to real outcomes in your CRM.

Connor Jeffers will continue leading hapily as CEO, with Dax Miller as co-founder and Chief Care Officer, and the team is now fully focused on building event tools that feel connected, intentional, and actually useful for the teams running them.

If events are how your business builds relationships, drives pipeline, or brings people together, that’s where our energy is going.

And What About Quotivity?

Quotivity is now its own company, led by Ryan Huff, who built quote•hapily from the beginning and has spent nearly two decades in the CPQ space.

With a dedicated team and a singular mission, Quotivity can keep pushing the product forward with the speed and depth advanced quoting deserves without competing priorities.

What This Means for Customers

Nothing gets disrupted. Your product keeps working. Your data stays put. Support continues.

What changes is focus — and that shows up in clearer roadmaps, faster iteration, and teams that are fully invested in the problem they’re solving.

Looking Ahead

This shift gives us room to do what we do best. hapily can go deeper on events. Quotivity can go deeper on quoting. And customers get products that aren’t pulled in two directions at once.

You can find hapily’s event solutions at hapily.com, and Quotivity is live at quotivity.com.

Thanks for being along for the ride — and for helping shape what we’re building next.
