Let’s say you’re pretty tight with Company X. Up until now, your main contact has been Carl from accounting. But Frank no longer works there and someone else has taken his place. Or perhaps you just found someone else you can talk to.
Now you need to create a new contact record for this new contact. You’ll have to manually create the record and copy over all of Carl’s associations. Or will you?
Using our awesome app Clone Attack, you can duplicate Frank’s contact record and choose what properties you want carried over to the clone!
How do you duplicate contact records?
If quick and easy is what you want, quick and easy is what you’ll get!
1. Start by opening your contact record.
2. On the right hand sidebar, scroll down until you see the Clone Attack card and click Duplicate Contact.
3. In the Clone Attack window that appears, enter in the New Contact Email for the duplicate.
4. Choose which associations you want copied over by checking their respective boxes.
5. Click Copy Now and you’re done!
You’ll be given the option to go directly to the duplicate contact where you can change the name if you’d like. Or you can make another duplicate!
Clone Attack is good for more than just duplicating contact records! Need a deal copied over? The process is almost exactly the same! The only difference is that you can choose which stage the deal is created in.
